1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Bubblist ("Service," "App," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Important: These Terms include an arbitration clause and class action waiver that affect your legal rights.
2. Description of Service
Bubblist is a collaborative grocery list and shopping list application that allows users to:
- Create and manage personal and shared shopping lists
- Collaborate with others in real-time on shared lists
- View and copy public lists created by the community
- Receive notifications about list updates
- Organize items with notes, quantities, and tags
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirements
You must be at least:
- 13 years old in most countries
- 16 years old in the European Union
- The age of majority in your jurisdiction
By using Bubblist, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
3.2 Account Requirements
To use Bubblist, you must:
- Provide a valid email address
- Choose a unique username (handle)
- Not be previously banned from the Service
- Comply with all applicable laws
4. Account Registration and Security
4.1 Account Creation
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Maintaining the security of your account
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of unauthorized use
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse account creation for any reason
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Reclaim inactive usernames
4.2 Authentication
Bubblist uses passwordless authentication via magic links sent to your email.
You must:
- Keep your email account secure
- Not share authentication links with others
- Log out from shared devices
4.3 Username Policy
Your username must:
- Not impersonate others
- Not contain offensive content
- Not infringe trademarks
- Not be misleading or deceptive
We reserve the right to change or remove usernames that violate this policy.
5. User Content
5.1 Your Content
"Content" means any lists, items, notes, comments, or other information you post on Bubblist.
You retain ownership of your Content, but you grant us certain rights (see Section 5.2).
5.2 License to Your Content
By posting Content, you grant Bubblist:
- A worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license
- To use, copy, modify, display, and distribute your Content
- Only for the purpose of operating and improving the Service
For Public Lists:
- Other users can view and copy your list content
- We may feature your lists in the community feed
- Your username (not email) will be displayed
For Private Lists:
- Only accessible to invited group members
- Not shown in public feeds or search results
5.3 Content Restrictions
You may not post Content that:
- Violates any law or regulation
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Promotes illegal activities
- Harasses, threatens, or bullies others
- Contains hate speech or discrimination
- Is sexually explicit or pornographic
- Impersonates others
- Contains spam or commercial solicitation
- Violates others' privacy
5.4 Content Moderation
We reserve the right to:
- Remove Content that violates these Terms
- Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
- Report illegal Content to authorities
- Moderate public lists for quality and safety
We are not obligated to:
- Monitor all Content
- Pre-screen Content before posting
- Investigate all user disputes
5.5 Reporting Violations
If you see Content that violates these Terms, you can:
6. Acceptable Use
6.1 Permitted Uses
You may use Bubblist to:
- Create personal and shared grocery lists
- Collaborate with family, friends, and roommates
- Share lists publicly for community benefit
- Organize and plan shopping trips
6.2 Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Reverse engineer or decompile the app
- Interfere with the Service's operation
- Bypass security measures or rate limits
- Harvest or collect user information
- Create multiple accounts to abuse features
- Sell or transfer your account
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
- Frame or mirror the Service without permission
6.3 API Usage
If we provide API access in the future:
- You must follow API usage guidelines
- Rate limits apply
- Commercial use requires separate agreement
7. Collaborative Lists
7.1 Group Management
List Creators can:
- Invite members to their lists
- Remove members from their lists
- Delete the entire list
- Change list privacy settings
Group Members can:
- Add, edit, and check off items
- Add notes to items
- Request deletion of items
- Leave the group at any time
7.2 Delete Requests
For shared lists, members can request deletion of items. List creators or other members can approve/decline these requests. This feature encourages collaboration and prevents conflicts.
7.3 Disputes
In case of disputes:
- Try to resolve directly with group members
- Leave the group if you cannot resolve
- Create your own list as an alternative
- Contact support only for Terms violations
We do not mediate personal disputes between users.
8. Public Feed and Discovery
8.1 Public Lists
When you make a list public:
- It appears in the community feed
- Other users can view and copy it
- Your username is displayed
- Engagement metrics (views, copies) are tracked
8.2 Copying Public Lists
Users may copy public lists for personal use. When copying:
- Attribution to original creator is provided
- The copy is independent of the original
- Changes to the copy do not affect the original
8.3 Making Lists Private
You can change a public list to private at any time. This removes it from the feed but doesn't delete existing copies made by others.
9. Notifications
9.1 Push Notifications
With your permission, we send notifications about:
- Items added to your shared lists
- Members joining/leaving your lists
- Delete requests on your items
- Important account updates
9.2 Email Communications
We send emails for:
- Authentication (magic links)
- Account verification
- Critical security alerts
- Service updates (can't opt out)
You cannot opt out of essential service emails.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Our Rights
Bubblist and all related trademarks, logos, and service marks are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use them without permission.
The Service includes:
- Software and source code
- Design and user interface
- Features and functionality
- Documentation
These are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
10.2 Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
10.3 DMCA Notices
If you believe Content infringes your copyright:

- Identification of copyrighted work
- Identification of infringing content
- Your contact information
- Statement of good faith belief
- Statement under penalty of perjury
- Physical or electronic signature
We will respond according to the DMCA.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We do not endorse or control these sites and are not responsible for their content.
12. Disclaimers
12.1 Service "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We disclaim warranties including:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy or reliability of Content
- Security of data transmission
12.2 Content Accuracy
Bubblist is for informational purposes only.
- We do not verify product information in lists
- We do not guarantee availability of listed items
- We do not provide nutritional or dietary advice
- User-generated content may be inaccurate
12.3 Availability
We do not guarantee:
- The Service will always be available
- It will be free from bugs or errors
- Your data will never be lost (though we maintain backups)
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or use
- Business interruption
- Personal injury (except where legally required)
Our total liability for all claims related to the Service is limited to $100 USD or the amount you paid us (currently $0).
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bubblist, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of others' rights
- Your Content
15. Termination
15.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time through app settings. Upon deletion:
- Your account data will be deleted within 30 days
- Your Content in shared lists remains for other members
- Backups may retain data for up to 90 days
15.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- Required by law
- The Service is discontinued
15.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the Service ends immediately
- You must stop using the Service
- Provisions that should survive (e.g., disclaimers, liability) remain in effect
16. Dispute Resolution
16.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@bubbli.st to attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days.
16.2 Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration, except:
- Small claims court actions
- Intellectual property disputes
- Requests for injunctive relief
Arbitration terms:
- Conducted under applicable arbitration rules in the Republic of Serbia
- Located in Belgrade, Serbia
- Individual basis only (no class actions)
- Arbitrator's decision is final and binding
16.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE TO PURSUE CLAIMS INDIVIDUALLY, not as part of any class or representative action. No arbitration or proceeding can be joined with another.
16.4 Jury Trial Waiver
You waive your right to a jury trial for any disputes.
16.5 Opt-Out of Arbitration
You may opt out of arbitration by emailing support@bubbli.st within 30 days of first using the Service with:
- Your name and username
- Statement that you opt out of arbitration
- Your signature
If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in courts in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If arbitration doesn't apply, you agree to exclusive jurisdiction in courts located in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia.
18. General Provisions
18.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other posted guidelines constitute the entire agreement between you and Bubblist.
18.2 Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date.
Material changes:
- Will be notified via email or in-app
- Continued use after changes means acceptance
If you don't agree to changes:
- Stop using the Service
- Delete your account
18.3 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
18.4 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
18.5 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms. We may assign these Terms without notice (e.g., in case of acquisition).
18.6 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, wars, pandemics, etc.).
18.7 Export Control
You agree to comply with export control laws. You may not use the Service if you are in an embargoed country or on a restricted party list.
18.8 Government Users
If you are a U.S. government user, the Service is a "Commercial Item" as defined in FAR 2.101.

- No class actions

- We don't sell your data
- We use data to run the Service
Changes:
- We can update these Terms
- We'll notify you of major changes
- Continued use means you accept changes
By using Bubblist, you agree to these Terms of Service.
